The Dragon Ball Z series originally aired in Japan in 1986, and officially debuted in the US in 1998. Created by one of Japan's most famous cartoon animators, Akira Toriyama, the series currently appears on The Cartoon Network and is watched by well over a million viewers. Dragon Ball Z is a story of the adventures of Goku, a good and powerful warrior who embarks upon a quest to fight the forces of evil. The action takes place upon many exotic locations and features dozens of strong warrior, good and evil alike. Ultimately, Goku achieves incredible power and becomes the universe's most powerful warrior.
